Đerdan is a domestic columnar apple variety developed at the Fruit Research Institute in Čačak. This variety is characterized by a compact, upright growth habit without lateral branches, making it ideal for planting in small spaces, home gardens, and pots. Variety characteristics
- Appearance and Taste
- Fruits are medium to large, round in shape, covered with a light red blush over a yellow base. The flesh is juicy, firm, with a pleasant sweet-tart taste, very refreshing and aromatic.

- Ripens at the end of August and early September. Fruits are suitable for fresh consumption but can also be stored for a shorter period.
- Suitable Soil
- Thrives best on moderately fertile, well-drained soils. Requires a sunny position and regular watering, especially when grown in pots.
