25 varietiesAn orchard's yield is not decided in the harvest year — it is decided on planting day. Three things determine how a plantation will crop for the next twenty years: the variety, the rootstock, and the health status of the seedling. The variety sets fruit size, flavor, and ripening time. The rootstock sets tree vigor, planting distance, and how soon the orchard comes into full bearing. Health status decides whether you get a stable yield at all.
Choose the variety by its purpose, not by its name. The fresh market wants large, uniform fruit; processing wants high dry-matter content; export wants firmness and durability in transport. Flowering time and resistance to late spring frosts matter just as much — in our climate they often affect the final yield more than the variety's productivity does. Our catalog covers certified seedlings of apples, columnar apples, pears, plums, sweet cherries, sour cherries, apricots, peaches, nectarines, quinces, medlars, hazelnuts, walnuts, currants, gooseberries, blackberries, raspberries, grapevines, and roses.
The rootstock decides your planting distance and when the orchard starts paying for itself. Dwarfing rootstocks give smaller trees, earlier bearing, and denser planting, but they need support and reliable irrigation. More vigorous rootstocks tolerate drought and poorer soils better, but take longer to reach full bearing. Every seedling we grow is grafted onto a carefully selected rootstock, matched to the soil type and the growing system.
A seedling without paperwork is a risk you pay for over years. Every seedling we sell carries a certificate of origin, phytosanitary approval, and varietal purity — you get exactly the variety you ordered, virus-free, with even growth across the whole plantation. If you are unsure which variety and rootstock combination suits your soil and climate, get in touch. We have been working with fruit growers for over twenty years and ship seedlings worldwide.
