Čačanska lepotica is a domestic summer plum variety developed at the Fruit Research Institute in Čačak. Known for its large, dark purple fruit and early, reliable yields. Thanks to its balanced sweetness and mild acidity, it is excellent for fresh consumption, drying, and brandy production.

Variety characteristics
- Appearance and Taste
- Fruit weighs 35-40g, elliptical shape. Skin is dark purple with a bluish bloom. Flesh is yellow-green, firm, juicy, with a pleasant sweet-tart flavor. Stone separates easily.
- Harvest Season
- Ripens very early – usually between July 25th and August 5th. Fruits ripen simultaneously, allowing for a single harvest.
- Suitable Soil
- Performs best on deep, medium-heavy, moderately moist, and well-drained soils with a pH of 6.0–7.0. Full sun exposure is essential for rich color and sugar content.
