- Appearance and Taste
- Fruits are medium to large, round, covered with reddish skin over a yellow base. The flesh is firm, juicy, and aromatic, with a sweet-sour taste, and partially separates from the stone.
- Harvest Season
- Ripens very early – usually at the end of June and beginning of July, making it ideal for the start of the fresh peach season.
- Suitable Soil
- Dixired performs best in fertile, permeable, and well-drained soils. It does not tolerate heavy, wet soils and requires sunny and warm locations, protected from late frosts.
